After a rough and tumultuous year to end the decade, things can only escalate from here. With new lives beginning and old ones coming to their end, I have to believe that we are all for the better knowing the certainty of our temporal existence. We should all feel comfort with the knowledge that we [...]

So after a long good run at the golden morning shift, I’m switching back to nights in hopes of greener pastures which will lead me back to a more palatable schedule. I guess the change has reopened my eyes to career development path that I should be taking. Oh ambition, where art thou? The wife [...]
So the family woke up as early as we could and headed out toward Boulder City. I’ve been wanting to try out a bike trail that went though some old abandoned railroad tracks that have since been converted to a multi-use trail. More history about it here. In total it was about 6 miles round [...]

Since the material was so fresh in my mind, it was amazing to view what many have said, is the closest [...]
Darlene just participated in her first 5K run on Saturday, the Second Annual Read and Run for Your Health for the Henderson Library. She finished the 3 miles within 37 minutes which is pretty amazing for a new mom! It started out fairly early so her littlest supporter stayed home as morning’s here are still [...]

My mother-in-law and both my brother-in-laws are currently on a plane over the Pacific headed to their second layover, Taiwan. For four weeks they’ll be gone in their own reality show, “The Thai Born Lao-American Bachelor”. My brother-in-law is going to find a wife there. I told him to look for twins and hook his [...]

Happy 2-yr anniversary honey! I have to say that dinner was a nice change in pace. Love you!
